Information Security Policy

As ALCOA CRO and its employees, we aim to manage all risks concerning business continuity and our information assets. We commit to:

  • Documenting, certifying, maintaining, and continuously improving our Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards,
  • Ensuring business continuity and minimizing potential damages,
  • Protecting information from unauthorized access that could compromise its confidentiality and integrity,
  • Complying with all legal regulations and contracts related to information security,
  • Systematically managing risks related to information assets,
  • Conducting technical and behavioral training to enhance information security awareness.

We integrate these activities with other management systems we apply, aiming to be a leading organization in the industry in terms of information security with our high-quality services.

Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy

Policy Statement and Scope

Our employees must not, under any circumstances, engage in or show a tendency towards bribery or corruption.
Our company categorizes all behaviors falling under the definition of bribery and corruption as negative and malicious actions, which are prohibited by our organization.

Regarding Gifts and Donations
Gifts or entertainment activities that may be perceived as bribery or preferential treatment cannot be offered or accepted.
Cash or gift certificates equivalent to cash should never be offered or accepted.
We do not solicit hospitality or business meals from customers or suppliers. Symbolic gifts may be accepted but should not be frequent.
No personal assistance or donations should be accepted from individuals or organizations in a business relationship with the company.

Facilitation Payments
No facilitation payments are to be offered to accelerate routine tasks or processes involving government agencies.

Accurate Record Keeping
ALCOA CRO’s accounting and record-keeping system must fully comply with legal procedures.
All accounts, invoices, and documents related to relationships with third parties must be recorded accurately, reliably, and maintained.
No falsification or misrepresentation of accounting or similar business records should occur.

Suppliers and Business Partners
Companies and business partners from whom goods and services are procured must comply with the policy and relevant legal regulations.
Senior management ensures working with firms that have high ethical standards and positive histories. We do not work with firms or partners associated with bribery or corruption.
Contracts and agreements include a compliance clause with this policy.

Encountering or Suspecting Bribery or Corruption
Employees and business partners are responsible for reporting to management or company communication channels any situations they encounter or suspect involving bribery or corruption.
Example situations include being offered a bribe, conflicts of interest, irregularities, favoritism, or benefiting from undue advantages.

Reporting Policy Violations
Instances believed to be policy violations are reported to company management and/or the ethics communication channel.
Honest and transparent reporting is encouraged, and any employee who reports concerns in good faith is supported, and reports are kept confidential.
No employee will be subjected to pressure or punishment for reporting an ethics violation.

Penalties for Non-Compliance
In case of policy violation, sanctions ranging from internal disciplinary measures to termination may be applied according to company regulations.
Under the Turkish Penal Code, bribery can result in serious penalties such as imprisonment.
